Reptiles are not my friends...

I have severe phobia of snakes. I can barely look at them when they are on tv and don't even ask me to head into the reptile house at the zoo. Brock you are on your own...even if you are only 3. Just teasing...he usually goes with someone else.

I knew I was spooked about snakes but it has expanded to include lizards. If I wasn't so freaked about seeing a lizard in my house, I would have taken pictures for this blog. So, you will just have to imagine that the stuffed dino is the incredibly huge lizard that made it's way into our house one day.

Brock & Lynzy had fallen asleep on a car ride home. I unload one kid at a time and get them into their rooms. When I went back to the front door to fully close it and lock it, there was a huge lizard in the corner of my hall. It scared me big time. My heart started beating really fast and I was praying it wasn't going to move fast and make it into the kids' rooms or somewhere where I couldn't find it.

This is what it looked like from my perspective after I got the laundry basket to block one side of the hall and my handy dandy mop to shake at the lizard from afar. I quickly called me neighbor and asked if there was a man/boy that could save me from the lizard. Brianna brought her male friend over to help me.

I cautiously opened the door with my trusty mop. And I hear hysterical laughter about the whole situation.

Until the man grabbed the lizard and it ran fast out the door. Brianna jumped onto our flower bed wall to get away from it and the guy was fairly freaked too. I don't know and don't care what kind of lizard it was. I just really don't want them in my house.
